Bonsaicars Vehicle Importers offer a range of services to their clients. Ultimately, we source the highest quality cars from around the world at prices that do not discriminate against the UK public. We can source the vehicle of your choice for the very best prices, and our service is clearly broken down in English. There should be no surprises, we deliver what we promise.

To that end, we offer transparency in our offerings, hiding nothing from potential buyers, while being on hand to answer any and all queries they may have. The quality of used Japanese vehicles imported to the UK varies tremendously. All vehicles, which pass through Japanese auctions, are meticulously checked and graded by our team of mechanics, with full details available before a bid is placed.

The following is a brief guide to Japanese vehicle grading:

ALL VEHICLES PURCHASED FROM ALL JAPANESE AUCTIONS ARE GRADED

Grade S>6>5 - Brand new to perfect condition
Grade 4.5 - very good condition
Grade 4.0 - good condition
Grade 3.5 - fair condition
Grade 3 - average to poorer condition
Grade 2 - spares/repair
Grade 1 - modified vehicle
Grade 0 / 0.1 / 0.2 - Accident repaired (see vehicle report for replaced parts)
Grade R / R A - Accident repaired / with very clean repair

Over the years we have found few UK importers who will openly discuss the auction grading system with their customers. Any dealer buying direct from a Japanese auction will be aware of each vehicle's grading before they purchase it.

Unfortunately, many vehicles finding their way to the UK are grade 3 or poorly repaired grade (0), purchased at auction for next to nothing and sold to unsuspecting members of the public for large profits
